Akua Genis

The work of Akua Genis operates at the intersection of personal experience, psychological states, and artistic reflection. Through an intense and fragmentary process, she explores questions of identity, trauma and inner tension, translating these themes into a raw and immediate artistic language. We curated and edited the documentary editorial text, translating the complexity of the artistic process into a structured narrative without diminishing its rawness. In parallel, we designed the visual identity of the vinyl release, including the cover artwork and typographic system, aligning materiality, format, and content. Our work bridged concept, design, and production—shaping a consistent artistic and visual expression across editorial documentation and physical media, while respecting the integrity and authorship of the artist.
